How I help

Work stress, burnout and workplace psychology

Work can be demanding and workplace cultures challenging. When it starts to cost your health, sleep or relationships, it is worth getting support.

Support for individuals

I offer evidence-based psychotherapy focused on:

  • burnout and chronic work stress
  • interpersonal difficulties and conflict at work
  • workplace bullying
  • psychological injury, including WorkCover (ReturnToWorkSA) claims
  • work-life balance and returning to work

I work with people in all kinds of roles, and especially with professionals in demanding fields such as medicine, law, teaching, nursing and engineering. The aim is to restore wellbeing and help you work in a way that is sustainable.

WorkCover claims

If your sessions relate to an accepted WorkCover claim, treatment may be funded by the claim. Let me know when you get in touch, with your claim number and case manager's details, and I will explain how it works. I also provide assessments and reports for workers compensation matters — see medico-legal and forensic assessments.

For organisations

I consult with organisations on recruitment and fitness-for-duty assessments, providing professional psychological guidance and support. Please get in touch to discuss what you need.

Common questions

Can I come if I'm still working?

Yes. Many people come while still at work, often because they would like to stay there in a healthier way. Sessions can be in person or by telehealth to fit around your hours.

Will my employer know I'm seeing a psychologist?

Not unless you tell them or your sessions are funded through your employer or a WorkCover claim. If they are, I will explain what information is shared before we start.

Do you work with organisations?

Yes — I consult on recruitment and fitness-for-duty assessments. Contact me to discuss what you need.

Ready when you are

Your first step doesn't have to be a big one.

Book directly through my online diary, or send an enquiry whenever suits you — I read and reply to every message myself.
